Reading follow up

 Hello fellow bloggers today I am going to tell you what we are doing for our reading follow up.

For our reading follow up we have been learning about mountain safety. Like you need to make sure of the weather. All of that stuff. I have learned a lot. Athletics Practice Part 2

 Hello fellow bloggers today I am going to be telling you about athletics on Friday last week.

Last Friday we got to do another 3 events. We got to do Long Jump, Discus, and Long Distance. The first event we got to do was Long Jump. I did pretty good I think. I think I went very far. The next event we got to do was Discuss. I made it to zones last year for Discus. I think I did alright. Then we did Long Distance. I don't like Long Distance, but I think I did okay. Athletics Practice.

 Hello fellow bloggers today I am going to tell you what I did for athletics practice.

Yesterday we got to do 3 events. I am a year 6 so I was with the year 6 boys. The first event we did was shot put. My best throw was probably about 8 meters. Then we went to high jump. I jumped all of them. I almost hit the bar but I didn't. The last event we did was sprints. I am pretty good at sprints. My friends and I came 2nd place against the teacher. Math work

 Hello fellow bloggers today I am going to tell you about what we did for math today.

So we are learning about reflection, rotation, translation and symmetry. We had to get into buddys so Lewis and I went together. For the first day we learnt about reflection, rotation and translation. We had to make a slide saying what the definition and two examples who it works. Well have a good day or night.

What I Miss About The Lockdown

 Hello fellow bloggers today I am going to tell you what we have done for the past 2 days of school. 

For writing we had to say what we will miss and what we will liked about coming back to school. I am a bit angry that we are going back to school. Mainly because I want be able to sleep in our stay up late. One of the main bits I liked about lockdown was that I could do what I wanted when I wanted to. But I really enjoyed playing basketball with my big brother.

 

Facts about Basketball

Hello fellow bloggers today I am going to tell you some facts about basketball

Basketball has awards like MVP, rookie of the year, and defensive player of the year. I will tell you the winners. Nikola Jokic got MVP. Lamelo Ball got Rookie of the year and Rudy Gobert got defensive player of the year.

Also there is something called a draft and that is when you draft players who are rookies. I will tell you the best player in the draft; Anthony Edwards.There is something called the All Star Weekend.

There are 3 challenges :

• The 3 point competition . The 3 point contest is a challenge were you have to shoot 5 balls in 5 racks. There is also a Mountain Dew ball which would give you 3 points. If you get a money ball you get 2 points and if you get a normal ball you get 1 point. The winner this year was Stephen Curry
• Skills contest . The skills contest is a challenge were you have to do a bunch of drills. Like throwing a ball into a net and getting a layup and then you have to make a 3 pointer. You go against someone else whoever is faster advances to the next round. The person who won was Domantas Sabonis
   
• Dunk contest.. The dunk contest is where you have to do a dunk and 5 people will score you out of 10. The best score that you can get is a 50. Some people bring famous people to assist them. The winner this year was Anfernee Siomons.
