Anzac day facts

Hello fellow bloggers today I am going to tell you some facts about Anzac.Anzac stands for Australian New Zealand Army corps.Anzac day is celebrated on the 25 of April.It is a national remembrance of  Australian and New Zealand.The Anzac tradition began during World War 1 with a landing in 1915.Do you know what Anzac day is?

  1. Hi Jayden.I really like this poster.I think the poppy is a great symbol for ANZAC day.
    ANZAC day to me,is a day that we remember all the men and women who went to war for their country.And to remember those that did other duties besides fighting.The nurses,pilots and so many more.
    For years, we had been getting up early to go to the Dawn Parade at Cranmer Square, to pay our respects.This year,we will be standing in our drive way holding a candle to show our support.
    Will you be doing anything special on the day?.

  3. Good morning Jayden,
    On Saturday,I got up early and stood at my gate with my family.We lit 3 candles.It was still dark and eerie.I was thinking about all the soldiers that went to war but never returned.
    We played The Last Post on the phone.We saw a few other neighbours at their gate.
    Did you do anything to celebrate ANZAC Day?.
