I Am Trusted Trekker

 Hello fellow bloggers today I am going to tell you about how I become a trusted trekker. 

In assembly today they were picking some more trusted trekker. I have wanted to be a trusted trekker since the start of this year. The announced 4 people in my class. 

My Mum, Dad, Brother and Sister came to see me become a trusted trekker. I was so happy that I am finally a trusted trekker. Because 3 of my other friends last year become trusted trekkers. 

After I had to go on stage. Miss Scott let me sit on the chair. After that I went up and did the kete card draw. I don't like going up on stage but one of my friends forced me to. 

I am looking forward to being a trusted trekker for the rest of the year. Do you have a trusted trekker at you school?

Paper Mache

Hello fellow bloggers today I am going to tell you about me and Marvins paper mache. 

A few weeks ago my teacher said that we are making paper mache. Then she said to find a buddy. So Marvin and I went together. We made a Hoi Ho. A Hoi Ho is a yellow eyed pengiun.

 First we had to shape it with wire. Then we put 3 layers of newspaper over to. It was really hard to make it stick on the first layer. But we did it. Then we had to put 2 layers of white paper down. Which was really easy. After that we had to make sure it was nice and smooth. After we did that we had to pull up a picture and start to paint. It took Marvin and I 2 days to paint. After that we had to make a slide of facts about our birds for assembly. By the way his name is Bobby. Here is my paper mache bird and facts. 

 

Zones Basketball

 Hello fellow bloggers today I am going to tell you about zones basketball. 

This is my second year making it to zones for basketball. We come second in the whole bracket. We won 4 games and lost 1. I got subbed off once. Our first games was against OLV. Our second game was against St Bernadettes. We made it to the semi finals. Then we went against Fendalton. Then we made it to the finals and lost to Burnside. I think I played really good. So did my Team. Also want to thank our coach Daniel. Hope you have a good day our night. Do you play basketball? 

Reading Follow Up

 Hello fellow bloggers today I am going to tell you about what we are doing for our reading follow up.

For the last 2 weeks of the term my reading group is going to be reading about Matariki. I am going to show you my must do. My must do is what is Matariki and what are the main celebrations. Here is 1 they like to do dancing and singing. Also remembering people who have died in the past year. Well here is my slide show.     

New Zealand Warriors Visit

 Hello fellow bloggers today I am going to tell you about the New Zealand Warriors coming to visit.

Yesterday 2 people from the Warriors came to visit our school. One of their names was Jr. He is the winger for the warriors. Also there was  a lady named June who came. The New Zealand Warriors play in the NRL with 15 other team. I won a water bottle for answering a question. The question was when did the Women Warriors entered the WNRl. The answer was 2018. They asked some other questions and if you got one right you would either get a water bottle, Shoe laces, our a swimming bag. 

Then I got to go outside and do some drills with them . We played bull rush and a game were you put the cone in the middle of 2 people and when someone calls cone you have to grab it as fast as you can. Well hope you like my blog post. My Family Tree
